Dear Russell,
Please note that I purchased your software last Monday and downloaded it and I must say that it is easy to navigate and I am happy with the results &
also many thanks for taking my two telephone calls.

I have few queries and would be obliged if you could help me to sort them out as follow"

1) We are a new start up company and the cash forecast starts from 1st may 2010and therefore the taxation which I presume is corporation tax will not
be payable until Feb 2012 for the first year profits. Your information sheet only lets me input the data in the current year and there is no way taxation
can be paid 9 months into the first year for a start up company. Also I changed the month to 12 in the box, the taxation still shows in month 9 on
P&L. Can you please urgently help me to resolve this problem.

2) As we are a new company I inputted the directors loan in the data section on line 276 and I notice that on the cash flow line 68 there is a column for
the Directors loan repaid. How can I pull this figures through on a monthly reduction of £30000 of various directors loan to be repaid without interest over 36 months?

3)In the summary sheet there is a line marked Break even sales. Can you please tell me how I can understand this figures properly.

4)Please also clarify what the Debtors figures mean in the sheet marked Trading.

I look forward to your support comments.

Kind regards

I've been putting your product through it's paces and, not surprisingly am finding it excellent.

However, there are a couple of minor areas that don't quite suit the way we do things in the "Antipodes".

1. Here VAT is referred to as GST
2. Small to medium Companies pay their GST liability every two months or six months. Only very large companies pay monthly.
3. The currency symbol we use is $.

I can get round #2 easy enough, but how difficult would it be to make the cosmetic changes in points #1 & #3?

I look forward to your comments in due course

I have found with the loans that if you select lump sum and 1 repayment the software doesn’t appear to work. It either shows no repayment or monthly repayments starting when the lump sum should be paid. This happened using Loan 3 yesterday.

I entered an opening balance of £15,000 for a loan with no interest and a lump sum payment in month 12. I obviously may have done something wrong, but I think I have tried every combination available to try and get the correct answer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I purchased a copy of your cashflow software earlier this year and i am enquiring as to whether it is possible to change the debtor payment terms so that a percentage are received on 30 days and a percentage on 60 days.

What I mean is that companies seldom have debtors that pay on 30 or 60 or 120 days- the options available on your cashflow.

Even if their terms are 30 days a proportion will pay on receipt (this can be included in cash sales), some on 30 days and others on 60 or 90 days.

Therefore, the cashflow needs to be able to cater for a number of different payment dates. Perhaps you could change the data input to a percentage basis like with the cash sales option i.e. rather than entering a rigid 30 or 60 or 90 days etc a percentage of customers that pay on 30 days then a percentage on 60 days would be much better.

Or is there a newer version?
